Doctor Strange 2 is not a public domain program but
has been published with the full source code, graphics
and music included to encourage the development of the
game and others like it. It must be used in accordance
within the following conditions.
In the following restrictions any reference to a published
program means a public domain program. If any other type of
published program, such as shareware and commercial, uses
any files or their source, from this disk then th suthors
must be contacted and conditions agreed on for the usage
of the material.
All rights to the code, graphics and music remain the
property of the authors Ian West and Jonathan Eggelton and
cannot be used without the permission of the authors.
The Doctor Strange 2 disk and its contents are freely
distributable as long as the disks and its contents are
not tampered with and stay in their original condition.
If you use the editor for your own private use then no
money needs to be payed to either of the authors. If
it is used to produce a PD program/file then a
registration of five pounds must be sent to the
authors at the above address and a credit included with
the program/file.
The source code has been included for anybody wishing
to learn AMOS and see how the game was run. It is
encouraged for programmers to use the code for their
own projects. If any part of the source code is used
in a PD program then a registration fee of ten
pounds must be sent to the authors and the authors
credited in the published program. This fee is in
addition to any other registration fee.
When you register the usage of the source code then
you will receive a technical guide to the code and
level files.
The source code restriction also covers the use of any
graphics and music from Doctor Strange 2. This is that
a registration fee of ten pounds must be sent to the
authors if the game is to be used in a PD program.
